Read published stories and assets to render pages, and add a management token when the app should also create or update content. Tokens are made per space in Storyblok.
What you need.
Create the keys in your Storyblok account and paste them in. Each one is saved under the name shown, and your app reads it by that name.
- Public or preview access token
STORYBLOK_ACCESS_TOKEN- app.storyblok.com, the space, Settings, Access tokens. A public token reads published content, a preview token drafts too
- Space region optional
STORYBLOK_REGION- Shown next to the space in app.storyblok.com: eu (the default), us, ca, ap or cn
- Space id optional
STORYBLOK_SPACE_ID- In the space's URL. A number
- Personal access token optional
STORYBLOK_MANAGEMENT_TOKEN- app.storyblok.com, My account, Personal access tokens. Only for writing content Get it
How to connect.

Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.

Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Storyblok.

Paste the keys and save. Your preview restarts, and your app can use the service from then on.

- “Render my Storyblok pages as a marketing site”
- “List Storyblok blog posts with tags”
What happens to your keys.
- Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
- The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
- The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
- Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.
