Choosing

Which plan is right for me?

You want to try Crisp
Free. $3 of AI usage a month builds your first apps, and you can publish one. No credit card.
You are building something real
Pro, $20 a month. $12 of AI usage and 10 published apps, with nothing to set up.
You build every day, or for clients
Max, $100 a month. $70 of AI usage and room for 50 published apps.

Credits

How credits work, in full.

No fine print further down. This is the whole system, and the meter in the app shows every number as it happens.

One credit is one dollar
No points, no tokens, no exchange rate to learn. Usage is counted in dollars at what the AI models cost us.
Its mistakes are free
A request that fails or repeats the same error is not charged, and neither is Crisp fixing what it broke.
No surprises
Before you send, you see what requests like yours usually cost. While it runs, a live meter. After, what it cost and why.
A limit on every request
Each request stops when it reaches your limit. The default is $2, and you can change it.
Apps stay online
Credits pay for building. Your published apps keep running even when your balance is at zero.
Top up when you need to
On any plan, Free included, a $10 top-up adds $8 of usage at cost. The rest covers card fees and the building time that more usage brings. Top-ups never expire.

Typical costs

What a request usually costs.

Most changes cost a few cents. Bigger requests cost more because there is more to build and more to check. These ranges are a guide; the meter shows the real number every time.

Questions

Questions about paying.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Sign up with GitHub or your email address and you are on Free, with $3 of AI usage every month. You only add a card if you choose a paid plan or a top-up.

What can I do on the Free plan?

Build and try your first apps from start to finish. Free includes $3 of AI usage a month, which is enough for two or three small apps, up to 3 projects at a time, and 1 published app on a Crisp address. To use the free usage, sign in with GitHub or confirm your email address. This keeps the free plan fair for everyone. Your own domain needs a paid plan. If you run out before the month ends, a $10 top-up adds $8 of usage without a subscription.

Why does Pro include $12 of usage for $20?

Because usage is charged at exactly what the AI models cost us, with nothing added. The rest of the price pays for everything else: the time Crisp spends building and checking your app, keeping your published apps online, storing your projects and versions, and card fees. So $12 of Crisp usage goes further than $12 of credits that have a markup built in. A typical new app costs about $1 to build and check.

What exactly is a credit?

One US dollar of AI usage, counted at the price the AI models charge us. A request that uses 12 cents of model time costs you 12 cents of your allowance.

What happens when my allowance runs out?

You can still open your projects, edit code, browse your data, publish and export. New AI requests wait until your allowance resets, or until you top up. Published apps keep running.

Do I pay when Crisp gets something wrong?

No. A request that ends with an error, takes too long or stops because of a problem on our side is free. So is the part of a request where Crisp fixes something it broke. When the same error comes back, Crisp stops repeating the same fix: the repeated attempt is free and you get a one-click way to try a different approach. A build that changed nothing and still fails costs at most 5 cents. Undoing a request within 10 minutes refunds it. These share one monthly limit, $5 plus half of what you paid for usage, so failing on purpose cannot buy free building; most people never reach it. If a request still went badly, write to us and a person will look at it.

Can I see what a request will cost before I send it?

Yes. Under the chat box you see what requests like yours usually cost, measured from real requests, along with your balance and your limit per request. If your balance or your limit may stop the request, it says so before you send, never halfway through.

Does unused allowance carry over?

No. Your allowance resets on your billing date each month. Top-ups you buy do not expire.

What happens when many people use my published app?

It runs more copies of itself while they do, up to 4 at once on Free and 10 on Pro, and sleeps when nobody does. Its data is kept in its own database, saved all the time. You can download a copy of it at any time.

What happens to my apps if I go over a plan limit?

Nothing stops. Limits apply only to starting a new project or publishing another app. Your projects and published apps keep running, and you can delete a project to make room or upgrade at any time.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Your projects, versions and published apps stay.

Can I build mobile apps for iPhone and Android?

Yes, on every plan. A mobile app counts as one project, like a web app, and its usage is charged the same way. To put it in the App Store or Google Play you use your own accounts: an Expo account, which builds the app (free for 15 Android and 15 iPhone builds a month), the Apple Developer Program ($99 a year) and a Google Play developer account ($25 once). Those are paid to Apple, Google and Expo, not to Crisp.

Can I list my app in the Marketplace?

Yes, on every plan, Free included. The Marketplace gets your app seen by the people who visit Crisp. Listing a published app costs $9 once, and you get it back if we do not accept it. Featured is optional: for $29, your app is shown at the top of the Marketplace for 7 days, like a sponsored place. Only 6 apps can be at the top at once. Your plan does not change what listing costs. Others can copy your app only if you turn copies on.

Who owns the apps I build?

You do, on every plan. Export the code to GitHub and download your data whenever you like.

Start on Free. Upgrade when your app needs it.

No credit card required. Free includes $3 of AI usage every month.

No credit card. Your code and data stay yours.
