Use AWS in your Crisp app.
Call any AWS service with your access keys.
With an access key pair your app can call any AWS service: EC2, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, SES and more. Make a dedicated IAM user whose policy covers exactly what the app needs, never root or admin keys. This connector works with your AWS account. It does not host your app there.
What you need.
Create the keys in your AWS account and paste them in. Each one is saved under the name shown, and your app reads it by that name.
- Access key id
AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID- console.aws.amazon.com, IAM, your user, Security credentials, Create access key. A dedicated IAM user with only the permissions the app needs, never root. Starts with AKIA
- Secret access key
AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY- Shown once when the access key is created. Pairs with the access key id
- Region optional
AWS_REGION- us-east-1 when empty. Common ones are us-east-1, us-east-2, us-west-2, ca-central-1, eu-west-1, eu-west-2, eu-central-1, ap-south-1, ap-southeast-1, ap-southeast-2, ap-northeast-1, sa-east-1
How to connect.
-
Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.
-
Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick AWS.
-
Paste the keys and save. Your preview restarts, and your app can use the service from then on.
Then ask for the feature
- “Show CloudWatch alarms and recent errors on one page”
- “Queue each upload for processing with SQS”
What happens to your keys.
- Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
- The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
- The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
- Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.
Service names and logos belong to their owners; Crisp is not affiliated with them. A service changes its keys and pages now and then. Found something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with AWS.
