Microsoft Fabric Microsoft

Use Microsoft Fabric in your Crisp app.

Query lakehouses and warehouses through GraphQL.

People sign in with their Microsoft account and your app can query the lakehouses, warehouses, SQL databases and KQL databases behind a Fabric GraphQL API. Paste the API's endpoint, or tell Crisp which one to use once connected. One Entra app registration can be reused for every Microsoft connector.

What you need.

Sign in with your Microsoft Fabric account in a new window and choose what your app may do. Crisp keeps the sign-in and hands your app a fresh token whenever it needs one, so no key is ever pasted or stored in your app.

Prefer your own Microsoft Fabric app? Paste its client id and secret instead, and your app runs the sign-in itself on your own pages:

Application (client) id
MICROSOFT_FABRIC_CLIENT_ID
entra.microsoft.com, App registrations, your app, Overview (one registration serves every Microsoft connector). A UUID
Client secret
MICROSOFT_FABRIC_CLIENT_SECRET
The same app, Certificates and secrets. The Value column, shown once
Tenant id optional
MICROSOFT_FABRIC_TENANT_ID
The same Overview page, Directory (tenant) id. Leave empty to allow any Microsoft account (common)
GraphQL endpoint optional
MICROSOFT_FABRIC_GRAPHQL_ENDPOINT
app.fabric.microsoft.com, your workspace, the API for GraphQL item, Copy endpoint. The full https URL ending in /graphql Get it

How to connect.

  1. Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.

  2. Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Microsoft Fabric.

  3. Choose what your app may do and press Connect. You approve it with Microsoft Fabric in a new window, and your app can use the service from then on.

Then ask for the feature

  • “Show daily revenue from the sales lakehouse”
  • “Let analysts filter the warehouse by region”

What happens to your keys.

  • Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
  • The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
  • The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
  • Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.

Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with Microsoft Fabric.
