Use Microsoft OneNote in your Crisp app.
Read and write pages in OneNote notebooks.
People sign in with their Microsoft account and your app can list their notebooks and sections, create pages, and read or search notes. One Entra app registration can be reused for every Microsoft connector.
What you need.
Sign in with your Microsoft OneNote account in a new window and choose what your app may do. Crisp keeps the sign-in and hands your app a fresh token whenever it needs one, so no key is ever pasted or stored in your app.
- Stay connected without signing in again always
- See your name and email always
- View OneNote notebooks always

Prefer your own Microsoft OneNote app? Paste its client id and secret instead, and your app runs the sign-in itself on your own pages:
- Application (client) id
MICROSOFT_ONENOTE_CLIENT_ID- entra.microsoft.com, App registrations, your app, Overview (one registration serves every Microsoft connector). A UUID
- Client secret
MICROSOFT_ONENOTE_CLIENT_SECRET- The same app, Certificates and secrets. The Value column, shown once
- Tenant id optional
MICROSOFT_ONENOTE_TENANT_ID- The same Overview page, Directory (tenant) id. Leave empty to allow any Microsoft account (common)
How to connect.
-
Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.
-
Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Microsoft OneNote.
-
Choose what your app may do and press Connect. You approve it with Microsoft OneNote in a new window, and your app can use the service from then on.
Then ask for the feature
- “Save meeting notes to my OneNote after each call”
- “Search my notebooks from the app”
What happens to your keys.
- Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
- The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
- The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
- Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.
Service names and logos belong to their owners; Crisp is not affiliated with them. A service changes its keys and pages now and then. Found something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with Microsoft OneNote.
