Use Microsoft SharePoint in your Crisp app.
Sites, lists and document libraries.
People sign in with their Microsoft account and your app can browse SharePoint sites, read and write files in document libraries, and add or update list items. New site collections are made in SharePoint admin, not from the app. One Entra app registration can be reused for every Microsoft connector.
What you need.
Sign in with your Microsoft SharePoint account in a new window and choose what your app may do. Crisp keeps the sign-in and hands your app a fresh token whenever it needs one, so no key is ever pasted or stored in your app.
- Stay connected without signing in again always
- See your name and email always
- Read items in all site collections always
- Edit or delete items in all site collections
- Create, edit, and delete items and lists in all site collections
- Have full control of all site collections
- Read all files that user can access
- Read and write all files that user can access
Prefer your own Microsoft SharePoint app? Paste its client id and secret instead, and your app runs the sign-in itself on your own pages:
- Application (client) id
MICROSOFT_SHAREPOINT_CLIENT_ID- entra.microsoft.com, App registrations, your app, Overview (one registration serves every Microsoft connector). A UUID
- Client secret
MICROSOFT_SHAREPOINT_CLIENT_SECRET- The same app, Certificates and secrets. The Value column, shown once
- Tenant id optional
MICROSOFT_SHAREPOINT_TENANT_ID- The same Overview page, Directory (tenant) id. Leave empty to allow any Microsoft account (common)
How to connect.
-
Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.
-
Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Microsoft SharePoint.
-
Choose what your app may do and press Connect. You approve it with Microsoft SharePoint in a new window, and your app can use the service from then on.
Then ask for the feature
- “Show the policies library from our intranet site”
- “Add each request to a SharePoint list for review”
What happens to your keys.
- Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
- The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
- The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
- Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.
Service names and logos belong to their owners; Crisp is not affiliated with them. A service changes its keys and pages now and then. Found something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with Microsoft SharePoint.
