Use Google Drive in your Crisp app.
Upload, list and download files in Google Drive.
People sign in with their Google account and your app can browse their folders, upload and download files, share them and search by name or content. The same Google Cloud OAuth client can be reused for every Google connector.
What you need.
Sign in with your Google Drive account in a new window and choose what your app may do. Crisp keeps the sign-in and hands your app a fresh token whenever it needs one, so no key is ever pasted or stored in your app.
- Know who signed in always
- See your email address always
- Read and write files always
- Read and write this GoogleDrive app's data
- Read and write this Google Drive app's folder
- View and manage all your files
- View and download all your files
- View and add to the activity record of files
- View activities created by Google Meet
- Read and write file metadata
- Read file metadata
Prefer your own Google Drive app? Paste its client id and secret instead, and your app runs the sign-in itself on your own pages:
- Client id
GOOGLE_DRIVE_CLIENT_ID- console.cloud.google.com, Credentials, OAuth client (one client serves every Google connector). Ends with .apps.googleusercontent.com
- Client secret
GOOGLE_DRIVE_CLIENT_SECRET- The same OAuth client. Starts with GOCSPX-
How to connect.
-
Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.
-
Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Google Drive.
-
Choose what your app may do and press Connect. You approve it with Google Drive in a new window, and your app can use the service from then on.
Then ask for the feature
- “Save every uploaded contract to a Drive folder”
- “Let people pick a file from their Drive”
What happens to your keys.
- Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
- The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
- The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
- Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.
Service names and logos belong to their owners; Crisp is not affiliated with them. A service changes its keys and pages now and then. Found something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with Google Drive.
