Google Maps Platform Google

Use Google Maps Platform in your Crisp app.

Maps, places, geocoding and directions.

Embed maps, search for places, turn addresses into coordinates, and show routes and distances. The server key does geocoding and directions and is restricted by API. The browser key draws maps and autocomplete in the page and is restricted to your app's address.

What you need.

Create the keys in your Google Maps Platform account and paste them in. Each one is saved under the name shown, and your app reads it by that name.

How to connect.

  1. Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.

  2. Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Google Maps Platform.

  3. Paste the keys and save. Your preview restarts, and your app can use the service from then on.

Then ask for the feature

  • “Show our stores on a map with directions”
  • “Suggest addresses as people type”

What happens to your keys.

  • Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
  • The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
  • The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
  • Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.

Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with Google Maps Platform.
