Use Google Ads in your Crisp app.
Campaigns, conversions and reports in Google Ads.
People sign in with their Google account and your app can list campaigns, change budgets and bids, record conversions and build reports. The API also needs a developer token from your Google Ads manager account. The same Google Cloud OAuth client can be reused for every Google connector.
What you need.
Sign in with your Google Ads account in a new window and choose what your app may do. Crisp keeps the sign-in and hands your app a fresh token whenever it needs one, so no key is ever pasted or stored in your app.
- Know who signed in always
- See your email address always
- See, edit and manage your Google Ads campaigns and reports always
Prefer your own Google Ads app? Paste its client id and secret instead, and your app runs the sign-in itself on your own pages:
- Client id
GOOGLE_ADS_CLIENT_ID- console.cloud.google.com, Credentials, OAuth client (one client serves every Google connector). Ends with .apps.googleusercontent.com
- Client secret
GOOGLE_ADS_CLIENT_SECRET- The same OAuth client. Starts with GOCSPX-
- Developer token
GOOGLE_ADS_DEVELOPER_TOKEN- ads.google.com, your manager account, Admin, API Center. 22 characters Get it
- Manager account id optional
GOOGLE_ADS_LOGIN_CUSTOMER_ID- ads.google.com, top right next to the account name. The 10 digits without dashes
How to connect.
-
Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.
-
Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Google Ads.
-
Choose what your app may do and press Connect. You approve it with Google Ads in a new window, and your app can use the service from then on.
Then ask for the feature
- “Show spend and conversions per campaign this month”
- “Pause campaigns whose cost per lead goes above a limit”
What happens to your keys.
- Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
- The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
- The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
- Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.
Service names and logos belong to their owners; Crisp is not affiliated with them. A service changes its keys and pages now and then. Found something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with Google Ads.
