Use Google Search Console in your Crisp app.
Search traffic, verified sites and sitemaps.
People sign in with their Google account and your app can list their verified sites, read clicks and impressions by query and page, and submit sitemaps. The same Google Cloud OAuth client can be reused for every Google connector.
What you need.
Sign in with your Google Search Console account in a new window and choose what your app may do. Crisp keeps the sign-in and hands your app a fresh token whenever it needs one, so no key is ever pasted or stored in your app.
- Know who signed in always
- See your email address always
- View Search Console data for verified sites always
- View and manage Search Console data and sitemaps for verified sites
- Verify ownership of new sites via the Site Verification API
- Manage the list of sites and domains you control
Prefer your own Google Search Console app? Paste its client id and secret instead, and your app runs the sign-in itself on your own pages:
- Client id
GOOGLE_SEARCH_CONSOLE_CLIENT_ID- console.cloud.google.com, Credentials, OAuth client (one client serves every Google connector). Ends with .apps.googleusercontent.com
- Client secret
GOOGLE_SEARCH_CONSOLE_CLIENT_SECRET- The same OAuth client. Starts with GOCSPX-
How to connect.
-
Open your project, or start a new one from the dashboard.
-
Open the workspace menu and choose Connectors, then pick Google Search Console.
-
Choose what your app may do and press Connect. You approve it with Google Search Console in a new window, and your app can use the service from then on.
Then ask for the feature
- “Show my top search queries for the last 28 days”
- “Alert me when a page loses clicks week over week”
What happens to your keys.
- Each key is saved as a private setting of your project, under the name shown above.
- The AI that builds your app sees only the names. It writes code that reads each key by name, and never the value.
- The values reach your preview and your published app, and never the chat, the code or the logs.
- Open Connectors in your project to replace a key or disconnect the service. Publish again so your live app uses the change.
Service names and logos belong to their owners; Crisp is not affiliated with them. A service changes its keys and pages now and then. Found something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
Ask for the feature, and Crisp builds it with Google Search Console.
